AUTOMATED PARKING ASSIGNMENT
The system uses an intelligent algorithm that determines where to send buses based on:
1. Parking space availability
2. Lane reservations
3. Bus types
4. Bus states (e.g., whether the bus is fueled or if it has an open work-order).
Buses are tracked as they move towards the parking display. Once buses are within sight, the display shows the bus number and its parking lane assignment. The display also identifies a defective bus lane where drivers can park their defective buses.
An alternate lane is displayed once the system detects that the current defect lane is becoming full.
AUTOMATED BUS ASSIGNMENT
The automated bus assignment system assigns available buses to drivers through a distribution console.
When a driver swipes their card, the system’s algorithm selects a bus and displays the assignment on the console’s screen.
The bus assignment is also broadcast throughout all the reminder screens strategically placed across the garage to support a fully paperless solution.
The bus assignment algorithm takes into account the following factors:
• A bus is in an unblocked lane
• A bus is not identified as defective
• A bus is in a distributed lane
• Bus Type
• Planned maintenance
• Match buses with planned maintenance to shorter routes
• Wi-Fi required
• Failing an exact match, the system locates substitutes that most closely reflect the requested type
RTLS – REAL TIME LOCALIZATION SYSTEM
Central to the core functions is an intelligent algorithm and RTLS that determines the ideal parking location for vehicles in order to best meet the next scheduled deployments.
The RTLS provides detailed real-time information on the identity, location and movements of vehicles while the algorithm dynamically adapts the changes in the deployment schedule and available buses, parking spaces and drivers.

ITMS FLEETTRACK INSPECTION MODULE
The vehicle inspection module application is used by maintenance personnel to view results of pre-trip and post inspections performed by bus operators.
The module can be used by operators to determine if the bus can leave the garage for its regular route, go to service lane for minor maintenance before taking its route or go to service lane to change for a new bus.
